Adding DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) to a US-spec S2000

I am going to use this to make some high beam fog light.
I bet I can run a heavy duty resistor from Accessory 12V to the high beam lamps. The resistor would limit the voltage so they will light up 60% to achieve the DRL illumination. I'll look into that and let you guys know.

this would definitely be a cheaper option (la cosa esta mala lol) but keep us posted with what you come up with! thanks

Tell me about it
Yeah I'll take a look at the wiring diagrams. It cant be that hard.
Any Canadian owners want to let us know the behaviour of the OEM DRL under all conditions? (i:e. While engine is running, while high beams are switched on, during the night, etc etc) So I can emulate as close to OEM function as possible.
Thanks,
I found this on another forum. I think this may be the solution. This is the original thread, but i don't like this method because a switch is needed.

But this is the follow up, and i'll be using this method.
