Default AEM UEGO Gauge Sensor Issue

Ok...I already posted this on the AEM Forum but I figured I'd try here as well and see if there is any info. I'm not exactly sure why my gauge is doing this, but it seems like as the gauge heats up it reads wrong and then just doesn't give a reading.

If the car has been off for about an hour or so (enough time for the gauge to cool) and I simply turn the ignition to on but leave the engine off, the gauge reads 14.8 then in about 5 seconds it starting to get to 15, and about 10 seconds after that 16 and 17 until shortly thereafter it simply reads --- and is pegged at full lean.

If I turn the car on after it has been off the same thing happens, except MUCH quicker...basically with the first 10 seconds its already reading ---

Can anybody help me out? I wired it all directly from the battery using a relay and relayed it off ignition...the ground is good, used by other stuff as well. I check the harness connection and it all looks good.

Any ideas?

Did you buy the unit new?

I had a similar problem and it ended up being a bad module. I sent it to them and they overnighted it back to me after two days.

If you call up the tech support line they are very helpful and you should be able to get through no problem since the winter is keeping people away from their cars a little more.
