Didn't you JUST get that SC installed?? I think you should either have gone turbo or bought a Supra.

I couldn't wait for Comptech to come out with one so I went with a custom fabrication front mount air to air intercooler.
For people who had doubt about if intercooler would help any for 6psi super charger set-up, doubt no more.
Even from the stand start, my car pulls harder since the cooler air is pushing in.

I am very happy with the set-up and my car pulls better on all rev-range.
Also as a bonus, intercooler's rigid mount helped the vibration down a bit.
I was worried about running lean issue with intercooler but stock ECU seemed to adapt very well too it. I know one individual actually running fine with intercooler with smaller pulley and stock ecu without any additional tuning.
My immediate step is to change the pulley to smaller one to up 2more psi and add AEM's management when it comes out.

I do have plan to dyno the car soon, so wait for that as well as the pictures.

Anyway, if you are going with Comptech supercharger don't just stop there and seriously consider going extra with intercooler set-up be it custom or upcoming Comptech's kit.

I have the competch supercharger, mugen headers, comptech exhaust, apex vfac controller, apex exhaust and boost gauges. However I want a aftercooler or intercooler and pulley, where can I get one dont want to wait for comptech. Does the one you have work well what kind of hp gains.

hecash:

I'll let Randy post more details if he sees the thread, but he had it done locally (VA-MD-DC area); I forget exactly where. The install and piping were "custom", but I remember him saying it was a readily available core that was used.

Last time I talked to Comptech, I asked about an aftercooler and they are working on one for the S2k (air to water), but unfortunately I don't think it's a very high priority. MikeB had no idea when it might be ready for market.

Thanks rocketman,

hecash,

No I didn't do it myself(I wish I can), I was refer to local performance shop that specializes in this area.

Intercooler core unit and the end tanks are from XS engineering.
I basically used the same type of set-up as the hondaroadster(username here) and real name Aaron of Fox Marketing.

Core unit runs about $500-550 and end tanks cost about $100 each.
Two types of end tank and it is the one that angles back.
XS will weld the endtanks but some modification(cutting off few inches to make them shorter and slant back more) is necessary before having them welded in.

Aluminum pipes are all 3" around and pre made pipes are ordered and then cut and welded to measurement.

Fortunately nothing was relocated to fit although the airpump assembly came very close on the driverside.
Obviously platic undertray was cut to accomodate the piping of each side.

I will try to post some photos but if you want I will e-mail them to you.

Rspec99 and hecash,

I am away from my home for a day, so I am sorry to tell you that I have to make you wait for the photos.

Please give me a day or two and I will be sure to send you some past photos and I will take better photos all around to send you soon after.

I am sure Luder's suggested place can help you for sure as it really isn't difficult at all.

Rspec99, when you contact XS you should either ask for slightly smaller size than what I ordered from them. Also I think it would be prudent to order the end tanks separately like I did to test fit before commiting. You may need to modify little bit of end tanks.

Please wait for me.

Thanks.
