I was just in my car a few days ago and the airbag light went off. It has been off since and don't know what it means and why it went off. Currently I am running an AEM EMS...could that be the problem?? I'm open to all suggestions!

 

You mean the light's on all the time? To test your theory, put the factory ECU back in and see if it goes out. You're going to want to anyway to trouble-shoot this even if the factory ECU won't run your engine any more. EMS doesn't support OBD2 (last I checked) which means if you want to use a scanner, you'll need to hook it back up.

 

the thing is..that the light didnt go on when I put my aem ems in. It took 2k miles to go on...

 

Well, without the ability to pull a code it remains a mystery right? May be totally unrelated to the EMS.
