Okay well I had new rotors to put on and after banging on the back with a hammer no luck. I finally found the online manual for the car and surprisingly it said to put two screws into the other holes on the face of the rotor. And would you know even after all the banging I did it only took putting two screws in and it just popped off.

Now I just need to fix the brake pedal feel. I did the gravity bleed but it doesn't feel solid. It feels mushy to me. I think I'll try to rebleed the brakes tonight after getting home from work and see if it will help or not.

I read in the diy part of the forums that it's supposed to be a very firm brake pedal feel if you do the gravity bleed. At first it felt like that but then it got mushy after about 15miles of driving.
Anyone done the gravity bleed and have comments about that?

BTW I must have hit the back of the rotor about 20 times and didn't break loose. The back of the rotor once off was kind sick seeing a million marks on it...lol

all you had to do was just look at it with wide eyes, cross your arms and twitch your nose and it just magically pops off!......or Blink while nodding at it.... that usually works for me! hahahahah

glad you got it off.....mine actually just popped off when i pulled them...but i have an 05 so maybe thats why?

Yea an '02 with the original rotors it seem. Lol. but it's off and the new ones look so much better. Maybe I'll have to find some rims for the new shiny rotors...haha

Since you replaced your rotors, you might want to consider spraying hi-temp paint on everything except the swept surfaces of the new rotors. First, you have to clean off any rust preventative oil, but then you can mask off the area touched by the brake pads and spray paint the rest with black paint. You can get the vents along the edge, too.
