Default AP2 Bottom Block with an AP1 Head.

Im thinking about building a motor with an AP2 Bottom Block with an AP1 Head, I heard supposedly Gives you the torque of an AP2 and allows you to Redline at 9k. Has anyone ever seen that done? I'm sure its possible. IF so, would it be something reliable? Or should I do something else? Let me know thanks!

I did this a few years back. MY05 short block with a MY00 head. It's as reliable as can be. I dropped in a set of Brian Crower valve springs a retainers (steel) just to be on the safe side. As far as the torque goes, i feel that there is a slight increase in torque below vtec, but that's all i pretty much notice. Everything on the top end feels relatively the same.
