Default ap2 motor w/ ap1 trans

I recently purchased a 05 AP2 long block for my AP1. Planning on using my AP1 trans. Any pros/cons in doing this? Will I run into any issues during install?

theres quite a few threads about this if u search, but no install problems and u can even use a stock ap1 ecu to run the ap2 motor. 00-01 are the best ecu choice cause it runs the richest. lots of guys run the 2.2 to 9k without problem, but most try to shift by 8500. alot of guys enjoy the f22 with ap1 tranny combo
