Default Apexi Ground System installation HELP!

I just got my Apexi Ground System partly installed today with my friend's help.
there are 3 wires. one to firewall, one to engine one to alternator

my fd said it's hard/unable to hook up one of the wire onto alternator .Instead, we connect it on the intake manifold

I wonder anyone know how to hook up a wire onto alternator?
will the performace of the ground system be affect if it hooks to intake manifold? actually ,wht is the correct mounting position?
thx alot

You could hook it up to your ear for all the difference it's going to make.

you can hook it up to your left nut if you want, it won't make a difference in performance. in fact, you have as much chance of getting "performance" and power by installing a ground kit as you do by strapping a naked frozen midget to your hood.

Grounding kits give no performance but it does give a quicker and powerfull throttle response. It's true, i tested.
