I hate to volunteer the services of another member without their permission, but give RT a private message and ask him. HE IS A WEALTH OF INFORMATION for the VAFC.

Why?

Two main reasons I feel it's not a "great" mod:
- V-AFC doesn't control ignition timing which you need to effectively change the VTEC point,
- Day to day drivability suffers due to the fact you're stuck with a static VTEC change over point with the V-AFC while the Honda ECU is variable (engine doesn't run well in the mis-match zone which can get big if you're not at WOT).

It can definitely raise your WOT dyno curve (for the bench racers out there) but in my opinion the added HP isn't worth the degradation in drivability. However, fact of the matter is, I still run one and have no plans to remove it until someone come out with a plug and play S2000 ECU that can handle boost (AEM?), so don't listen too hard to me

I hate to change the subject from jays2000, but what if you keep the VTEC set point at 6000 with the VAFC? Will that keep the driveability?

I put the vtec to 6000 and there is still a mismatch. If you look at your VTo and VTi and you're just cruising, not WOT, there is still a mismatch.
