Chris Lum, I just got bought the car two weeks ago and I changed the MTF and Diff oil 5 days ago with GM fric. modified and mobil 75/90. Its an '03 with 43k. It seems that everyday the trans feels smoother but only get that sucked in shift shifting at 2500rpm and letting the rpm drop to around 1500rpm before shifting.

 

2500 rpm upshift on an ap1, unless im brisk, really bogs the motor, i usualy stay around 3-3500 for normal acceleration at least. Not to mention that is personally where i find the shifts to go in smoother..
