But, it does sound like "turbo" VroOOm...>PsSssssH

The comptech s/c + a/c does come stock with a bov, but it's more of a bypass valve. I think it's pretty weak and dinky, like it's going to break. I think the comptech setup should have come w/ a bov more like vortechs setup. I have the godzilla bov installed, it's not a nessassary need to buy one except for sound and looks. I got it just to get a kick out of it, and I think it's cool.

Moreover, i think it does add some functionality, but I'm still under observation. Salaska and I noticed that the Godzilla BOV holds the boost when reving up to 9k in neutral compared to the stock bypass valve.

- w/ the bov installed i can rev it up to 9k and I can see my boost climb on the defi gauge peaking at about... .45kPA = 6.5 psi.

- w/ the stock bypass valve installed, Salaska shows 0psi unless he plays with the gas pedal.

(this is all done at a stop, 3 bars on the temp, and in neutral)

I don't know what this can tell you, but so far I can only assume that w/ the godzilla bov, it holds boost better. Any other thoughts on this would help

thanks,

Philip D.

What does that do to your warranty with comptech? Anyoned spun their sc bearings yet? There's a reason they bypass not blow off.
