Cam holders!

Default Cam holders!

Hey guys,I was putting my cams back and cam holders,but the screws on the 2nd row from the intake side wont go in on the cam holders,I dont know what its called but it looks like pins? are stopping them from going in,how do I move this?to get the cam holder screws to go in?It seems stiff to move.

That is the rocker shaft that is blocking your bolts.

You can usually wiggle a tappered punch down one of the holes and it will turn the shaft into proper alignment.

Rocker shafts have turned, you need a punch to line them up. Then leave the bolts in the holes to keep the shafts from turning.

It is so stiff it doesn't want to move,is their anything else that I have to do besides wiggle the tappered punch in there because its not moving?
