Couple of things to check, first check your throttle cable, may sound weird but it could be loose. Does the car want to shudder then just shut off, or does it just straight bam shut off?? Also does the car run fine at idle once you crank it or does it just do this when you are stopping after driving?? Im having the SAME problem, trust me im trying to figure this out too. Only things left to check on mine are MAP sensor and maybe throttle position sensor. I have cleaned my IACV and that helped idle, also had a K&N filter (which is oil based), and the oil in the filter can damage sensors so I am replacing that today.

i just did a altenator check myself by pulln the pos battery terminal and it stayed running so i can safely assume its not the alt, im going to check the throttle cable next. and when it dies it stumbles a liitle then just drops the rpm's and dies. i talked to a acura tech at my local dealership he said it may be that my exhaust valves have tightend up and that can cause a rough idle he said honda recommends a valve adj aroung 100-105,xxx miles but he get cars in all the time before that like 35-45,xxx in need of a adj.
