Default CEL

Hey guys I was going on a drive this morning and the car throws a CEL out of nowhere. I take a quick drive down to Advance Auto and have the codes pulled this is what I got.

P0497

P0134-o2 sensor bank 1, sensor 1, no activity.

What could have caused this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. This was with stock exhaust and cat on too. I installed my exhaust and tp 2 hours after this happened just to clarify.

the sensor in the header may be dead or dying, or the electrical connector that is just above the tranny may be loose or have bad terminals.

the other code doesnt exist in my service manual database, sometimes when the 02 sensors go bad they throw off odd cel numbers that don't mean anything, that happened with my secondary o2 sensor. In my case the electrical connector had come loose for some reason.

Hate to bring this back to life, but hey craig2teg, did you ever find out what caused your problem and how you fixed it?

If so could you email me at zacreth@gmail.com.

Thanks!
