Default CEL Light

Hello, I don't know if this is the right place but there was a post about the check engine light in here... Mine came on this morning and I suspect it is because I made a noob mistake and put lower octane instead of high (habitual). When I took the car to Advanced they tried plugging into the car, but he said it wasn't getting any power and that a fuse must be blown. I checked just about all of them in the parking lot and didn't see any evidence of a bad fuse. About half a tank of the low octane fuel was used so I filled up with premium today. Has anyone had a similar experience with the gas or with Advanced? I'm not sure he knew what he was doing- he said he hadn't done this with an S2000 before. Thanks!

Take it to another place to have the OBDII read. Not sure what fuse would have been blown and you not realize it somehow. Any performance issues or noises?

Pull the code before you assume it's related to lower octane fuel.

If ur fuse wasnt blown you should start looking at the ground side of the OBD port...

You most likely have a bad fuse somewhere, in addition to a code.

The car powers the scan tool.

Well, the light went away after a few miles of premium fuel- but I'm still taking it to another place for a scan. I re-checked the fuses and none of them are blown. The ACC works fine. Nothing noticeable either.... no issues thus far.
