Keep at it BW - that fitment is truly awful. One of the main reasons I don't have faith in replicas.

That hood belongs in the trash bin. Send pictures to whoever you bought it from and see if they will send another without an exchange. Since it can't be fixed, why spend money on shipping costs?

This, of course, is every individual's perogative to have such an opinion. I, on the other hand, won't reject a "clone" on the basis of them being more prone to defects. One just has to weigh the benefits and go from there. I've had the Amuse "style" front lip and was very happy with it. I have the T.S. "style" CF vented hood and I'm very pleased with it. I had the Spoon "style" intake snorkel and was very pleased with it. I have the Airwalker "style" front lip and am NOT pleased with it. 3 out of 4 ain't bad and I saved a bucket full of money over getting the "real" article.

Thanks for your help xviper, I agree with your comments, I would live with a smaller gap, but its way too big at the moment....

update.....its 90% fixed now...altered the latch at the front and its left only a couple of mill gap which I am more than happy with!

Will try post some pics tomorrow
