You have to remember the Parts dept personel don't actually work on cars.
Biggest thing to check for when changing the cabin filter:
Once re-installed, see if you can wiggle the back of it (side towards the interior) up and down a little. If you can, take it back out and try it again. There will be no play at the back once installed correctly. It is very easy to incorrectly install the cabin filter, and all that crap you see in the filter will be in the car if it's not in right

Without exposure the body does not generate antibodies to fight off bacterial attack, etc. This is why it is important for newborns to be fed breast milk. A baby's immune system is not yet mature enough to protect the child and receives it's antibodies and builds it's immune system from it's mothers breastmilk.
Again, revived from the dead
Checked and somewhat cleaned my filter tonight because I was bored...can you say FILTHY?! 45k miles btw...
Anyway, the thing was a bit harder to get seated properly than I had expected, but didn't take much longer than a couple minutes. I made sure and got the rear tab in the hole to prevent any play at the interior side, but there is about 1/4" play at the end nearest the engine bay (where the 'lokcing' tab it). Cannot remember if the play was there when I took it out. Everything is where it should be and looks alright, just a bit curious about the up/down play at the front. thinking about it I doubt it'll matter because the filter will get sucked down and sealed against the edge (unlike the front where the tap will prevent it from sealing).
BTW, the 5mm socket worked GREAT

Just checked and cleaned the cabin filter, my S has less than 13k miles, and the cabin filter is much dustier than engine filter. Honda should reduce the cabin filter replacement schedule to 15k miles.
