Checking Engine Oil....
Hi All -- quick question about checking engine oil:
Do you guys notice that the level of oil on both sides of the dipstick doesn't match? Specifically, for my S2K, the left side of the dipstick (i.e. the side facing the battery) seems to show almost full oil all the time, whereas the right side seems to be 'accurate'. Is this common/normal, or is it a sign of 'bad' things???
I've chk'd it from various positions (dead ahead, from the passenger side etc.) and it seems to be the same.
Any info you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Nothing to worry about, it is normal.
The dip stick isn't hitting perpendicular to the top of the oil line because of the slanted block.

There is a really good cut out view illustration in the maintenance section in HyperRev book.
I wish I can scan it right away and post but I can't, maybe someone can if he or she has time?
