chirping sound + ticking sound from engine - fixed
Hi Guys ,
So recently I had ticking sounds coming from engine around 4000-6000 rpms and two weeks ago a really annoying constant chirping sound started to come from the engine so I took it to the dealer , they couldnt figure out what the hell is wrong the first day and said the sound was not coming when they were checking , but the second day they also heard it. At first we thought it was the belt , but it turned out to be the damn sticker on the engine close to the fan.
So when the fan kicks in , the sticker which was half peeled off goes into the fan and makes all kinds of noises , they took the sticker off and the noises went away. I remember reading a lot of threads here with the same problem I had so hope this thread helps someone. Next time something like that happens have em check the sticker too
cheers
