clonk noise
okay guys, I think I may have a little problem. When I begin to decelerate I hear a faint clonking noise and I think its coming from the rear of the car, it starts fast clonkclonkclonk and slows down clonk clonk clonk as i slow down. Last night I had the car in neutral and rolled backwards and I could hear the noise very clearly. there also seems to be a slight whining noise. does anyone have any idea what this is??
thanks,
Frankie

Stop driving the car until you figure it out, ever time the wheels turn just keep adding $$$$$ to your repair bill. sounds like differential/rear axle problems to me, but I'll let others chime in on this,.
so it got bad. shifted into second gear and something in the rear end went boom. Now the car rolls fine in neutral but when you put it in gear it has problems. the car starts off fine but with each revolution of the wheels there is a very loud noise and it is resisting movement due to this.
any ideas??
any ideas??
jesus, dude I said don't drive it.. Put a shotgun to your diffs head because it's gone. Oh well. start saving. you might as well get the Puddymod diff or something. what do those cost anyway (s2000 diffs?) 1000 dollars or so?
I really meant don't drive it or your bill will just get higher.
