Default New master cylinder

Got my CMC tonight. I’ll see if I can swap it out tomorrow morning.

That was new fluid just a few weeks ago. It’s not too bad but you can’t really see the bottom.

By the looks of it, this seal has had it!

Prolly only just me, but I had one helluva time getting the hard line threaded back into the new CMC when I replaced mine. Unless it starts threading in by hand smoothly, it's a no go to put a wrench on it....I think I struggled for a solid hour until I got it to thread in smoothly.....Watch, you get it to thread right in the first time *facepalm*

Same. Doing the clutch myself on jack stands was less stressful than that. Diy guys on youtube have very good diy guides on s2k stuff.

I’ll probably head into the garage in an hr or so. We are getting a bit of a storm right now in NW Florida. I’ve been known to get my butt.kicked a time or two from a stubborn bolt

Did another S2k clutch last weekend. That will be the third time for me now. All on jack stands but it really is not a hard job. This one was on a friends car. His clutch still had life but he was doing some other stuff and dropping in the ACT flywheel so we did the clutch at the same time of course. On his, the previous owner must have been Mr Ugga Dugga and I would like to shove an impact up a specific orifice if I ever meet them Flywheel bolts and subframe bolts were way over tight so some fun with breaker bars to get everything off but we got it done. His drivers side front subframe bolt has the typical corrosion issue on the top side of the bolt (inside the frame) so it was only going to come down so far but it was far enough to get the job done. Overall, fun hanging and wrenching in my shop with a friend and of course, the obligatory shop beers after His just came back from the body shop from being repaired from a crash at a TT event last season, so we will be doing more work to finish assembling it here soon as well, then I will be on to putting the rollbar and other items into mine!

Oh and also, both mine and his are yellow AP1's lol so this is the yellow AP1 clutch club I guess now!

Glad your clutch job went well!

Nice work!

Once you have done a job a few times, it gets easier. At least you know where some stumbling issues exist, which helps a ton!

For sure. I also have the full shop manual which is nice, but mainly just used as a reminder/checklist at this point
