Default Clutch smell

Last night I did a little spirited driving and tried to take off from a start quickly. My clutch slipped badly, I'm guessing because of the safety valve they put in the line. It put off a strong burning smell but seemed to drive fine afterwards. I'm concerned though, because today I'm still smelling that burning smell when I drive. The car only has 25,000 miles on it. Should I be concerned, or is it fine and the smell will just take time to go away?

Smell will go away... but it take some time. If your CDV is in.. you have to be mindful of it when your doing any type of spirited driving.

How can you take it out? I also do not get exactly what it does. Will it stop you from like burning out an stuff like that?

, it has been beat to death. As far as I understand it, all it does is it protects your diff at the sacrifice of your clutch. Search will give you a lot more details on it. There are a lot of mixed feelings on weather it is a good or bad thing. Since I dont ever launch hard or anything I left mine in.
