there are not huge bad stories about comp clutch. There are a lot of things that get blamed on Comp clutch sometimes.

I had the same problem as the OP in my car with the Comp Clutch stage II. It was improper install on my part because of no adjustment of the clutch pedal adjustment rod. clutch was not disengaging because there was not enough pressure to fully depress the fork. I had the same exact problems as the OP.

damn, i just read that post you linked too. did u use there flywheel? my buddy did, that must be why his worked out well. bummer man, thats a huge bummer. if you didnt use there flywheel, and would try that before paying a shop near 700 buckls to remove the setup and reinstall to maybe find out its the same damn problem.

if that is true, thats total ****** BS. **** comp clutch for that one.

i believe i have that problem now, but i'm in no way bashing cc at all. I daily my built civic for over two years (prob close to 50k cause the gf lives over an hr away) and it just let go in nov of last year. I just thought it was strange that the clutch didn't slip like a wore clutch would, but the pressure plate makes a lot sense.

if you changed out the master cylinder, then you must have also adjusted your pedal because the adjustment rod is directly connected to the pedal.

well for anyone who is interested it was a fault on competitions part. after 4 attempts, i decided to put my stock pressure plate along with the new disk and flywheel and worked like a charm. turns out the step heioght wasnt correct on the pressure plate.
