im planing on geting a sc... but i want to know which gives the most hp on the wheels and if anyone had problems w/ any of those? also which one whould you guys suggest?

 

Both are nice and it all depends on what other aftermarket parts you have on your car and tuning.

I went with Vortech, it was less expensive than the comptech when I got it through the group buy. A little more work to install, but I think it runs a little more boost as well.

 

This question has been asked and answered so many times that most people are not responding anymore. Should this be the case, might I suggest that you use the "search" and see what you come up with.
Personally, I've had the Vortech for over a year without any major problems. I got it instead of the Comptech on price alone.

 

someone should really increase the font size of that search box. the time it takes to type a question and wait for a response could prob yield all the answers you'd ever need. of course, if it weren't for all the repeated questions, well .... we'd have about 5 posts a week.

 

This is true. That is why I tried to be polite as I possibly could. I hope I came across that way.

 

They will both make your car fast. I went with the Vortech because of the potential HP with the aftercooler. The install is more complicated but you only have to do it once and it is a true labor of love. I bit the bullet and skipped the Vortech electronics and FMU opting for the AEM EMS. It made the install easier and I have never looked back. It runs great and sounds real exotic with the supercharger whistle at low speed. The car is now fast.






You can't go wrong with Comptech or Vortech. They both will make your car like Honda should have made it..................FAST. And besides that, it will leave a permanent smile on your face because the car is so fast. And finally for the record, in case I failed to mention it, the addition of a supercharger will make your S fast.
