I have a 2009 S2000 and have done a search to no avail. My Ac works but the drivers side vent is way colder than the center vent. Also the passenger side vent isn't as cold as the driver side vent. I also have a "fog" that comes out of the center went when the compressor engages while driving and the car is warmed up. I have a Honda repair manual but I can't figure out where to start. The center vent is getting warm air from somewhere as there is the fog, you can see condensation build up in the vent tubing and when the car is parked it drains allot of water. Almost as if the center vent gets warm air after the evaporator. Please help!

What position is the mode control dial set? To my knowledge air only flows from the vent above the radio when the dial is set to the center position, the one designed to dump heat in the cabin on cool days with the roof down. No air normally comes from that vent. Tried all six positions and the recirculation button?

Temp dial set to coldest setting? The system blends cold and warm air in many settings.

The vent I am talking about is the one above the selector as seen in the picture. On recirculating it gets the same temp as the other two face vents. Is there blender doors for each vent? The middle vents blender door may not be closing all the way is what I can come up with but can't tell by the repair book.

The vent above the knob should have the same air temperature as the one on either end of the dash with the selector in the position shown. Time to crawl under the dashboard and have someone run the blower and change the knob position while you watch and listen.

How's your cabin air filter (under the cowl)?

Not sure I can come up with a solution for the issue but the fog is not an issue. That happens when the cold dry air makes contact with warm humid air and the fog is the water in the air condensing.

Hey chuck. The cabin air filter is almost new.

Cosmomiller. I just thought maybe the air was already cooled and somehow warm air is getting in past the evaporator.

yeah, same as when you can see your breath on a real cold day.

The fog gets so bad that it drops water on my knee when I make a turn because there is that much condensation at the vent. This can't be normal.
