I built the replacement rear for that DIY
With trade of you old damaged rear I send you a reconditioned rear ready to go for less than you can rebild your self.
I also helped shock with that build as well

Fit a Miata NB model crownwheel and pinion into your housing. I've found they are stronger than the Honda equivalent gears and bolt straight in.
Nothing against Puddy - I hear nothing but rave reviews about his work - but if you're running stock power and not beating on the car (racing, etc), then a stock replacement diff will be just fine for you.

That is why I build a stock reconditioned rear for just a few bucks more than some used rear. If you trade in the blown rear it ends up being about the same price as used
