Default Disconnect battery for storing?

Hey guys. I am leaving and I'll be gone for two weeks. Is it a good idea to disconnect the battery for that whole time because I won't have anyone that can go start it or anything. I have an AEM series 2 ECU

an oem sized battery would be fine, my 17 lb small sized battery can go that length of time easily. But if you have an aftermarket alarm system I'd consider pulling the negative battery cable, otherwise leave it alone.

I left one of mine sitting for about a month and it was just beginning to be noticeably slow to turn over but still fired right up.

Yes, unless you have a bad parasitic draw or a weak battery, it will be fine for 2 weeks. 2 weeks is nothing. Batteries sit on shelves for months before being sold.

If you're storing it for a longer period or if you're storing it for 2 weeks at a time very often...buy a battery tender for $30. Just plug it into the leads. No unplugging the battery needed.
