I searched but didn't get find any info. Is there a DIY on convertible top installation (preferably with pics)??
Not just the convertible top cloth, I mean the convertible top assembly

I have the service manual but it is hard to understand from it since it is described complicately

 

I'm interested in this as well. I will be doing this in the next few weeks.

I used this as a guide when i did mine. It really isn't all that hard, just take your time.

 

We aren't looking at how to replace the top but rather take the complete assembly out.

I too, wish there were a step by step for it. Every DIY I see is for material install, not hardware or entire top. I'm putting a soft top back in under my hard top to have the option to go topless at any given time.

I ordered the digital service manual so maybe I'll put something together.
