Thanks for this DIY. I have been having this same problem with mine and now I can't wait to get home and fix it. Should have done this a long time ago.

Also i put a lil bit of electrical greese on mine months ago still shiny,

ME TOO! my LED dome and license plate lights just showed up and reminded me that my dome doesnt work either...guess i'll be tackling that this weekend

This was a piece of cake. I just used a little extra fine steel wool and cleaned the contacts up nice and shinny and put her back together again. Wish I would have known this a long time ago. Works like new.

Has anyone had problems with the individual switches and the on switch not working the only on that works on mine is the door. Just did the DIY but only got the open door light to work
