Default Driveshaft Spacers...

I have heard they are not but have not heard a definitive reason as to why. If anyone can enlighten me that would be great. Thanks!

The general consensus is that you do not need the driveshaft spacers for AP2, just AP1 s2k's.

That's what I heard but I want to know why. The driveshaft part numbers are the same for ap1 and ap2.

The factory AP2 diff has "spacers" already cast into the housing's axle flanges.

I believe the reason why ap2s don't need a spacer is because our driveshaft is 5mm longer on both ends.

Brian it has to do with suspension geometry. Thats why some of control arms are different PN's. Stratocaster knows.

RIGHT HERE:

Output flange on diff is different.
