droppin in new engine

Any idea where the oil goes? In my type-R engine, it went out the valve breather hose and into the intake. When I disconnected the breather and used a filter instead, oil consumption went away.

Has anyone tried a catch can on the valve cover breather hose?

Yes, catch can have been tried atleast once, I am sure.

Yes, that is where is goes. Out the PVC and the other vent (front of the valve cover).

Checking oil level often is the key. On the track, after 3 20min session, I was down 1/2qt. So keep on eye on it.

Yeah, oil into the intake causes detonation so, that worries me. Maybe I'll have to try a catch can myself.

My Type-R was the same way, I'd have to add oil after every 20 minute session.

I was just pondering the other day....could a J's racing built engine sustain day to day wear and tear?
