Default early rev limiter with weak vtec

Hello. I posted before because of the map sensor symptoms, however that doesn't seem to be the case...

The symptoms included:
-weak vtec... the engine struggles past the vtec point.
-early rev limiter... the engine struggles until it hits 8600~8800 rpm, hesitates then drops down even with the gas pedal at WOT.

A few hours ago, I installed the new map sensor and zip-tie from HardTopGuy and disconnected the battery to reset the ecu. After, I took the car on a 30 minute 'spirited' driving just to see if the problem has been solved however the symptoms remain. Engine has been warmed up to 3 bars, oil at high level and CEL was not on. Woe is me... don't know what is up with the car.

I am thinking perhaps it's a slipping clutch.

Anyone would like to chime in?

If you are having a difficult time telling the difference between a VTEC issue and a slipping clutch, you need to find someone who CAN tell the difference or you'll be pulling your hair out for a good long time before resolving this. You need a professional to check your car out in person.
