If your not showing a CEL then the pump is okay. You just got a hose leaking or something. Either way, pull your front bumper off and check it out.

i had this problem, sounds like a large hair dryer when starting and running cold...when it fails you get the cel. my damage was due to accident and took a while to fail, about a month or so...you will have to deal with this someday soon, car will run fine without it, but you will have a cel
