I remember reading somewhere that our engine coolant different then the standard honda/generic engine coolant. Isn't it specailly formulated for some crazy long life time 50k or 100k. I noticed last night that my coolant is barley at the min line in the reservoir. I want to go to the Honda dealer and buy some, but I wanted to know exactly what type I should get. I know sometimes the parts department will give you any old fluid and tell you its for the S.... Ie the differential fluid..


If anyone can clarify what I need to buy it would be appreciated.

Thats what I needed to know....

But there are two contradictory post....

1)One person says not to mix Type I with Type II
2)The other says Honda says its ok.....
Does anyone know the answer to this?

And if I have an MY02, do I already have Type II in my car?
