Huh? Did I miss something in this thread? I thought we were talking about the value of an ETD for street or light track use.

When did we start talking about winning races with an ETD?

it doesn't matter what one person thinks, no matter what he's done.

the spoon etd i used on this car made a noticeable difference. that's all that matters.

maybe he laughed because it wouldn't help you win races, but that's not the reason why we're looking to install this.

i removed mine because something was rubbing on something, i forgot what it was

An ETD can be a valuable addition to this car. Especially a car that is tracked. It can help keep the motor and trans in it's proper position aligned with the chassis. When the motor and trans are "layed over" or "twisted" in the chassis a mis-shift can easily be made. You can put in some solid motor and trans mounts to eliminate these movements but that often makes the car unstreetable. An ETD can be a nice compromise.

PuddyDad makes a nice mount that is totally reversible. No "hacking" required.
