Where's the engine vin located?

It should be located on the lower half of the engine facing the front of the car. Its a little white sticker with a bar code on it.

The engine does not have a VIN. It has a Serial #. It has the VIN of the car it was originally installed on.

The serial # is on the block on the intake manifold side, #1 cylinder, next to the cylinder head mounting surface.

Is that stamped between the valve cover and intake. Also are ap2 motor valve covers gold with red.

They are red with a gold insert.

I was refering to the engine serial number. I just realized he said engine VIN number which there is no such thing.

I have the black insert, but the engine is an f22.
