front lip install help

Default front lip install help

i installed the front lip but have 4 bolts and one bracket left over.. i know where they go but have no holes in the bumper to screw them in.. the lip feels secure though..does the 00-01 have a different set up? i have an 02..any suggestions.. i did check the search function..thanks

I just installed mine a couple of days ago.

You shouldn't be left with anything. Just check the instructions again to make sure all the bolts with brackets have been put in place correctly.

Make sure you've screwed in the side ones in front of the front wheels.

2000/2001/2002 setups are all the same. I can speak at least for '01 and '02.

I think I know what you did. You installed it upside down! I did the same. You put the bolts in the two ends and they fit ok and you start to put the other bolts in. However, you will probably find the holes where you put the other screws do not have anything to screw in to. So take the thing off again, flip it over and you should see all the holes. I think there are 9 or 6 holes altogether (I am pressuming you have the Coastal Metals Lip Protector).

i have the oem front lip.i should of been more clear.thanks anyway.i got it.but i now have a very small gap in the front.you think if i tight the front one first and then do the sides it would work?. thanks again

looked through your install. looks great. Where did you get those wheels?i have a seb silver also and the finish on your wheels seems to match and look great.

where was it when i was trying to install my OEM front spoiler?

but mine went on without incident.

those wheels are 18" SSR GT1?

Yes. SSR GT1's. I picked them up from another s2k owner. He got them from Tirerack.com. TKG 26 has them on his lowered silver with a hard top.. very nice
