Default Front parking lights working intermittently on lock/unlock

Recently the front parking lights have decided to only occasionally blink like they should when I unlock/lock the car. I searched and found one thread from 2012, but there was no resolution. Has anyone solved this yet?

I have the same issue except it's just on one side. I'll probably change the bulbs soon and see if that fixes it, and I'll check back in here.

The German way to fix it is to hit unlock and then tap the headlight with your first firmly but not hard. The real fix is to replace the bulbs and use dielectric grease and make sure the connectors are properly touching the bulbs. Both have worked for my ex girlfriends ap2v1 my 06 has never had issues with it.

Both of my front parking lights started doing this a couple years ago. Now my taillight side bulb is doing it. The overhead lights, trunk lights, and my license plate lights aren't working but I never even noticed that I had license plate lights

New bulbs start this trend shortly after installation as well. I'll try dialectric grease next, more specifically CorrosionX just because that's what I have in the garage.

If anyone has resolved this problem, a heads up would be fantastic.

Kinda tired of changing out the bulbs and constantly tapping my headlights and tail light before I get in the car

P.S. It's probably worth noting that this is on a 14 year old Ap1 with AP2 headlights and 90K

My AP2 has been doing this since at least 85K. New bulb didn't help. I guess I could look to see if corrosion on the connectors is causing a problem.
