Louis Vietnam is the best value, Louis Vuitton is a good value if you know someone working there. I think they get like 70% off!

Which just proves it is at least three times over priced.

I'm sticking with my OEM header unill I find a used one for a damn good price. Paying $1500 for 5 hp is rediuculuos in my opinion and is not worth it ever.

I am going to wait untill people start selling Rick's headers used and hopefully pick one up for ~$400.

hmm people say that the gains are horrible (5 peakish hp)

how is the rest of the power band?

how much hp is gained under the curve. or pre vtec.

I heard that depends on the brand. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong on this but J's gives the most peak, Amuse gives the most under the curve and Spoon gives the most after peak.

I know a local S2000 owner who had the DC Sports header with a Neuspeed exhaust and lost power versus the OEM setup on the dyno.

Also if you look at the quality of a DC Sports header versus Amuse, lets say... the Amuse piece puts it to shame.

Is that good enough for you?
Actually, no its not. Its always...I heard from someone else. I have the DC Sport header on my car and it make horsepower on the dyno with no other changes.

I've looked at the DC Sport header against the Amuse, Spoon, and Mugen and there isn't much of a difference. I've also never heard of the welds cracking on a S2000 DC Sport header...can't say the same for Mugen. Of course that doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

I concur. Why pay all that money for a lil' bit of hp when you can spend that on things that matter. Such as...I'll let you fill in the blank.

Well good for you then. I'll still stick to Amuse. I believe as in most things in life, you get what you pay for. Sometimes, more expensive doesn't neccessarily mean better, but in most cases it does.

I didn't hear from someone else. I was there, present, when the car with the DC Sports header was dyno'ed both times before and after.

If you don't see much of a difference then I don't know what to say except get your eyes checked. Just look at the welds b/w DC Sports and Amuse or J's Racing - huge difference!

IMO the S2000 is a premium sports car, not a Civic, so why put inferior cheap ass parts on it? For that, it would be better to stay stock.
