Default Headlight

Hello everyone. One of my headlights is starting to change color (left in photo), and actually goes completely out randomly. I assume it's wearing out? Where would you recommend buying new bulbs? I assume it's best to replace in pairs so the colors match? Or is it ok to just replace one bulb? Thanks.

Thanks. I replaced the bulbs. The one that went out before stays on for about a minute then going out again. I can turn it back on, but then it goes out again after about a minute. Would this be a symptom of the ballast going out? Thanks.

Update: I replaced the ballast and its still going out...is there anything else that would be causing the problem?

Is the problem related to the aftermarket lights or the ballast?

Has this been happening only recently? And has it been getting cold where you live recently? It could be moisture somewhere playing with it.

If you swap the headlights you had in the beginning of your problem, does the issue switch sides?

Probably not a bad idea just to avoid having to do the other one in a few weeks. My wife's Highlander burned out a headlamp last Friday. I bought a two pack, but she insisted that I only change the one that was burned out. It wasn't worth the argument, so I changed the burnt out bulb. A day and a half later I was changing the OTHER burned out bulb...
