Hey guys ... so, my heart blower just went out so I assume. Didn't do anything spectacular. Took her in the garage last night. Ran normally. I go to start her up this morning to warm her up. I waited for her to warm up before turning the heater on, and bam, nothing. It was working fine less than 10hrs ago.
1) I turn on the blower and nothing comes out but it lights up all the way to the top
2) According to helms, I checked for fuses (every single one) and they are all good
3) Then helms said for me to get a diagnostic.
4) Before I get the diagnostic, I checked to see if power was going to the blower, and sure enough, there is power.
So after all this, do I need to replace the heater blower? Should I take it to honda and have them run the honda diagnostic? I think I'm still under warranty, should I take it in for a claim?
Basically, I'm trying to get your help, input, stories, and suggestions. Has a heater blower gone out for anyone else?
Thanks

You should probably check the Blower motor relay to see if it is kicking in. The blower motor relay is in the under dash fuse box next to your battery. You will see three relays lined up in a row on the right side, and a larger relay just to the left of them. This larger relay is your blower motor relay.
According to the Manual, you need to test to see if you have continuity between #1 and #2 pin when there is power across #3 and #5 pin.
You might want to first pull the relay and see if it's getting power. Pull the relay out and with a volt meter, check to see if you're getting power to it. According to the schematic, pins 1 & 4 should have power when the fan is supposed to be on. Pins 1 and 4 are the pins on the left and right of the side of the relay that has 3 pins (the other side has 2 pins, and pin #3 - the pin in the middle - is a little closer to pin #4). It's a lot easier to understand this if you have a schematic.
But if you're under warranty, you might just want to take it in and let Honda mess with it.
