Help! engine bogs or hesitates
How are you pulling the codes?
Can you get freeze frame data?
What's your fuel trim, specifically long term?
Have you checked the air filter?
Have you messed with the map connection while the engine is running?
The variables of modern auto repair are truly wonderful!

its your motor not getting enough air from the intake.
If you have a stock filter, change it with a higher air flow and see. If that does not work, take the intake box lid out and drive it like that. Now you have more air going in.
Your motor is chokin on lack of air.
See if that works.

Removing the lid has been proven over and over again to not improve anything.

I had this happen to me this spring. I had a missing link installed, and all was fine, then your symptoms started developing, and progressively getting worse. All it happened to be is the missing link under the MAP was getting more and more loose, causing more and more incorrect readings for MAP, and therefore throwing the engine off. Removed / tightened the Missing Link, problem solved til this day, no CEL.
ok, i got a few cels, one was temp below operating temp, so i took an hour and replaced the termostat. fixed that cel.
Then i got a system too rich, i replaced the o2 sensor and it fixed that cel.
Now i am back to where i started, the bogging and hesitating.
i have tried a few different map sensors and it still does the same thing. it ran good for a day, which was weird after a new map sensor, but went back the same thing after.
I tried a brand new oem one and it still does the same thing, so i am not sure anymore.
Still bogs, but now with no cels on. also swapped spark plugs with some ngk platinum, oems, and tried the iridiums, same thing still.
Can anyone else help?
