Default VSA, (!), check engine light, sputtering problem

Seeking for some advice and help on a problem I have recently been having. I just recently boosted my08 with the SOS stage 2 kit. Randomly when I am cruising on the freeway or city driving my car randomly starts sputtering. My vsa, (!) symbol, and check engine light starts flashing when it occurs. When it occurs the car sounds like a sti wrx. Sometimes the vsa and (!) symbol lights will pop up and stay on. It goes away after turning off the car and turning it back on. Not sure why it happens. It used to be fine. Started happening after a few weeks replacing the driverside axle when I had snapped it. Any inputs or suggestions will help.

Edit* if i put my car on neutral and rev it out the car will stop sputtering and go away but the vsa and (!) sign will stay on.

No CEL coming on? If yes then pull the codes. If not, I would contact the person who installed the SC and/or SOS themselves about this issue. Maybe they encountered the issue during development or might have an idea why.

I will use a obd2 scanner as soon as I get a day off. There is a cell on right now and it's the primary 02 sensor failure. I have a new one but am waiting for a day off to install it. I will update asap. The car has been boosted for about 3-4 months and this occurred about 2-3 weeks ago.

The VSA and (!) light will come on for reasons that have nothing to do with the VSA system. I recommend parking the car.

im thinking a misfire. either a coilpack or sparkplug failure. My 07 Si had the same problem before and it ended up being a coilpack failure. VSA ! and CEL were all on.

I've read that a "flashing" CEL light is bad news. That you should stop the car immediatley.

Checked my plugs, one of the coil plug seals are torn.
