the first set of pictures are from the passenger side of the engine. The 2nd set are from the driver side.

Your camera angle is off. It's almost right in the 5th pic, but it's blurry. Nothing can be seen from those shots.

I believe you need to be looking lower. Like billman said, you can almost see it in the 5th pic. Look at the pictures billman posted in this thread of what to look for, you'll see what you need to take pictures of. Imagine the cams were not there. Its easier if they are not, but totally possible with them still in.

Your getting better, but we need to see the area between the two objects you are showing. To put it in simple terms, we need to see above the "plate" like object, the little circle in the middle of it. We need to see it at such an angle that the object above it is not obstructing the view. It will be difficult to capture in pictures with the cams in. A dental mirror pointed down there might make things easier.

That pic is good.

Don't worry about the blue, just the yellow (intake)

Take a lil compressed air or paper towel and clean away the oil so it doesn't distort the pic.

Chad and i inspected my engine....it all seemed normal no sunken valves on the intake side...didnt bother checking the exhaust side with the dental mirror...i wanted to check the retainers as well but that was impossible at the time...
