My keyless entry worked fine till the battery died, then i installed a new battery and the little red light illuminates when i press any of the buttons but it does not work anymore unlocking car or any other of the features.
Does it need reprogrammed? or is there something i can do myself to make it work again

 

check the fuse and see if it blew under your cabin, as well as under the hood.

 

Did you drop it in water? I drop my in water once and it died, even after I put in a new battery. When my keyless entry on my MDX battery died, it came back to life after a battery change thou Could just be its time, things get old and break down

I tried the reprogramming and it didnt work, so im gonna have to lay an irish beat down to this remote if the fuses aren't blown.

 

maybe the battery in the remote is dead.
