hey i got an 02 if that matters, but everytime i drop the top, the bar that lets the window down, doesn't go down and everytime i do push the bar to go down, the whole top does not go down still. is it because its cold outside? i live in bellingham, and temperatures are about high 30s/low 40s. friend suggest aftermarket bands?

 

I have an 02 as well and I had to change mines but my top got slashed and I got a new top, but same bands. It being cold could have an effect making the bands work harder to pull that bar back. But I would check out modifry's website for the band fix. That should fix it.

 

The top dosen't work well when cold. Let the top get warm first. And what ever you do don't try it below freezing. It's plastic and gets brittle it will crack.
