He got a lil problem, i have an 02 with 60k on it, and if i go WOT the car hesitates through Vtec and will drop my redline to just past 8K, im wondering if i might be something to do with the solenoid? its not throwing a code either, but it does need an oil change, but only about 100 past that.

 

i would most definitely change oil 1st and see what happens, gl

Disconnect the wires to the MAP sensor, blow the connectors out with some clean air, hook it back up again and make sure everything is secure, then report back.

(The MAP sensor is the little thing directly on top of the throttle body.)

 

Oh yeah, and make sure your oil level isn't low.

That's excatly what mine did when the oil pickup was blocked
