just turn the car to the "ready to hit the start button" position and turn the heater knob to high- then turn it off. Don't actually start the car at this point.

the 1/4 inch tube should fit over the nipple ok- try it out first to be sure it seals.

Overall, I now prefer the big Lisle funnel technique.

+1 on the funnel. Takes all the drama out of this task. Park nose up and use funnel. Turn on heat. Use patience. Done.

Part number on the "Leslie" funnel, please. There seem to be several. I just realized I'm at the 5 year coolant schedule (was changed in 2014).

Lisle 24680 is the one I use
Had to make a small adapter for it to work with aftermarket Koyo radiator but for stock one it works out the box.
