Nothing about making sure the rotary valve spins freely? That's like almost the most important part

Thanks for your feedback Slowcrash, I'll add it into the description when I outline the steps in text.

Anyone tried to have just the plastic motor piece connected when the car is running?
I'm going to run ITB's and not use the IACV, but need to have it electrically connected to keep the ecu happy.
Was wondering if it would spin like crazy and take damage?

Your car does not have an IAC valve.

Sound like a throttle body problem, you will need to run live data to track it down.

06+ doesn't have IACV. You should look into throttle position sensor.

You may be confusing hesitation with misfiring. If that is the case, i'd wait for a CEL to pop up and go from there. Either way, you will probably encounter a CEL for either issue eventually.

Bumping an old DIY. I was going to do this to see if it helps resolve the stumbling idle I have sometimes, however in this DIY (or any thread on the IACV) there is no mention of the torque value of the bolts. I looked in my 2000-2007 Helms manual (pg 11-127) and although there is an arrow pointing to the IACV, there is no further page number or technical information about it (no diagrams etc).

Can someone point me to what the torque values are (or where I can find more technical information about it in the Helm's manual)?

thanks
