How to remove air duct? (pics inside)

Hey S2KI. I'm trying to remove the black air duct in the picture above. Its the piece that is above the white bumper absorber. I know theres 7 screw clips that hold it in place, but it won't come out no matter what I try. I would wiggle it, pry with a soft tool, it just seems like its held on by something else. Does anybody know how to remove this piece without having to remove the whole front bumper? Thanks in advanced.
Also note that unless you have that in place, or some sort of "cooling panel" to replace it with your car may overheat on the highway as air is just going to shoot back along the line of your hood rather than be pushed into the radiator.
N/a you can probably get away without one, but it definitely won't help having nothing there. FI cars with an intercooler that already blocks some flow to the radiator definitely need one.

its the radiator diversion panel. and no, you can not remove it with the front bumper on to my knowledge. it's too large. there are additional clips somewhere other than the top ones. hope that helps

The front bumper really only takes like 20 min to get off/back on, not difficult at all albeit slightly tedious. Some screws up top along the cowl, bolts on the bottom connecting the bumper to the plastic undertray, and then bolts on either side by the headlights.
I removed mine without removing the front bumper, it's a $%#$%$ pain in the arse though. I had to feel around and contort my hands, it would likely have been easier to have removed the bumper. Lol!

Taking the bumper off is the simpler way to do it for less of a headache, and probably safer to avoid inadvertently damaging the duct too.
